ZNE buildings produce as much energy as it consumes
California energy goal for residential is to be ZNE by 2020 and for Commercial building is to be ZNE by 2030.
Some think ZNE is zero electricity but then there are some that think ZNE is zero electricity and zero gas or propane etc..
This is the REAL Zero Net Energy and one of the only ways to reach REAL ZNE is to incorporate Geothermal or GeoExchange into you residence and commercial building.
